"I love the way the two of you play off of each other. The different perspectives and ways you’ve tried to integrate your experiences into your lives brings a depth and breadth to the thought/insight you share. There is synergy between the two of you... The metaphor that comes to mind is a team of baseball radio announcers. The play by play person describes the action on the field (Ranji); the color commentator gives insight and analysis (David). There are obvious limits to this metaphor but something like that seems to be happening... I appreciate the depth of feeling and insight you've brought to my NVC practice."
